Reflections through case studies

A good way of learning is to build on our experiences from work and daily life. Keywords here is to use (learning) resources that trigger recognition and identification, and hence bring experiences “into play”. A video presentation is often a valuable tool to start reflections, both individueally and as a fundament for collaborative work.

An activity could be to ask the learner to watch one or several videos, and thereafter be asked to reflect upon certain aspects.

The following task illustrates this learning method:

  • Please watch the two videos below, where two local food producers at the Tapolca Marked Hall are being interviewed, and answer the following questions:
    • Which challenges do local food producers face in order to be competitive?
    • Which role do network play?
    • How could a Business Advisory Centre support these producers? Write down 2-4 possible actions.
